Community Engagement Guidelines for Social Media

The Next Door, Inc. envisions a supportive community where all children and families are safe, healthy, and valued. We encourage engagement that fosters community and ask that community members treat each other with respect.

To keep conversations on our social media channels focused, we’ve established the following guidelines:

  1. Be Kind and Welcoming
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect.

  2. Celebrate Diversity
Make sure everyone feels safe. Hate speech or bullying of any kind is not allowed. Discriminatory or degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender and identity are not tolerated.

  3. Relevant and Respectful Content Only
Spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed. To ensure meaningful discussions, please keep your comments and posts relevant to the group’s purpose and objective.

We reserve the right to remove any comments or content that does not adhere to these guidelines. We may also block users without prior notice who violate the guidelines or otherwise abuse our online communities.

The Next Door, Inc. is not responsible for and does not endorse third-party websites or content that may be linked to from our social networking websites.
