Native American Youth Culture Camp Has Its Best Summer Yet
Each year, The Next Door Inc.’s (TNDI) Youth Services team puts on free summer camps for local area youth. Among the three camps and summer youth employment program offered by TNDI is a Native American Culture Camp (NACC). Now in its third year of programming, the camp has seen its greatest turnout yet.
The Next Door Champions Voter Mobilization
Seasoned Community Health Workers (CHWs) of Nuestra Comunidad Sana eagerly embrace new projects, especially those that will help build a sense of community, civic engagement, and leadership. This year, HPS expanded its services by adding a non-partisan Voter Mobilization Project.

The Next Door Inc. (TNDI) and Burgerville in The Dalles are teaming up for a community fundraiser in July! From 4-8pm on Wednesday, July 17th, 20% of every purchase made at Burgerville will be donated to support TNDI's Kelly Avenue School.
The Next Door Celebrates Therapeutic Schooling Program Graduates
With graduation for the class of 2024 approaching this month, we'd like to highlight two outstanding graduates in The Next Door Inc.'s (TNDI) Therapeutic Schooling Program. The students that we serve are youth who are at-risk, disenfranchised, and those who have for years fallen between the cracks of our public education system. With this in mind, the exceptional educational staff at the Klahre House (KH) and Kelly Avenue School (KAS) work tirelessly to find ways to help motivate, heal, support, and grow their students' academic success.
Chip In for Children Charity Golf Tournament to Benefit The Next Door
JD Fulwiler & Company Insurance’s Fulwiler Foundation will be hosting their 10th annual Chip In for Children charity golf tournament to raise money for organizations impacting the lives of local children and youth. We are thrilled to announce that The Next Door Inc. has been selected as one of this year’s beneficiaries, along with the Vancouver Police Activities League and Oregon Alliance!
